Retail, Office and Residential Redevelopment
This eleven-storey office building, located on the east side of Clarence Street in Sydney’s CBD, was constructed in 1971. This project included: reconstruction of the facade, a new canopy and street level retail and entry, demolition of a rooftop plant room and conversion to three penthouse apartments. There was provision of floor-by-floor services so that the office floors themselves could be subdivided. Each level has up to six strata suites. The gross floor area of the converted building is 6600m2. The project was completed in 2003.
