Lemon Street House

2012

This is two bedroom house with a number of intermit living spaces built in Campbells Creek on the outskirts of Castlemaine on Dja Dja Wurrung country.

The home is designed to a very tight budget and formed by two slipped skillion roofed structures that are connected through the central kitchen dining area.

The fall of the site is followed by the internal levels to create a series of dynamic inter-related spaces. One roof follows the fall of the site the other reverses the fall creating a higher internal volume to accomodate a studio above a garage behind the fire place. This also creates a higher presence on the street.
