David House – 2005

Centre for people with intellectual disabilities

In the 1950s the parents of children with disabilities built David House on public land provided by Footscray City Council. At the time the house was hailed as ‘the most Modern in Australia’.

In 2005 Crosby architects was engaged to redevelop the existing site to meet the modern requirements of its users.
